Licensing and Contracting Update

Illinois has announced new CE requirements to sell LTCI, by now requiring all LTCI producers to complete course 25008 which is titled, “Long Term Care Partnership.” Producers licensed before July 1, 2008 that have completed course 09400(the “original” class) by that date must complete course 25008 by July 1, 2009. Producers either not licensed before that date or who did not complete course 09400 by then must complete course 25008 before representing LTCI insurance within the state. Credit for this requirement is granted to non-resident producers who complete another state’s similar training requirement. For a list of CE providers, please contact our office.
