BCBSIL Hallmark Agent Services

Have you registered for Hallmark Agent Services? BCBSIL has made available an online site for brokers to access information about their entire block of Individual Major Medical (IMM) Under-65 business. You can view underwriting status, product descriptions, marketing forms, current plans, premiums, billing modes and more.

BCBSIL now only advises BROKERS via email of rate changes for existing clients. You must be registered with Hallmark Agent Services to receive these emails. When this notification is received, go to your client listing and view the rate change letter that was sent to the client. If necessary, you can then click on rate reduction options to obtain alternate rates.

Do you have an underwriting concern? You can go to Underwriting E-Opinion tab on the same site to do a prescreen. You will receive a response within 24 hours (usually sooner). Please include this prescreen with the submitted application. If you would like additional carrier opinions on the same prospect, please fax the submitted E-Opinion into our offices and we can pursue those simultaneously for you.

Do you have a specific question regarding an existing client? You can e-question Hallmark on the client screen. However, you can still always call our offices for assistance as we are here to help!

When you register on the Hallmark Agent Services site, you are automatically given an “ExpressLink”. This Expresslink is a simple way for you to E-mail an E-Application to your client (which has all of your information pre-populated in the form), and then your client can complete it electronically and submit it to Hallmark. Then on the Hallmark site, brokers can check the E-App status, view and print a copy of the originally submitted E-Application. This process solves all legibility issues, insures all blanks are populated correctly, and eliminates all mail and greatly reduces YOUR administration time.
