Blair Farwell participated in NAHU’s Capitol Conference 2009 in Washington, DC this week.  As a participant and HUPAC (Health Underwriters Political Action Committee) member, he lobbied on Capitol Hill with national and local congressional leaders, attended a HUPAC Congressional Reception as well as various breakout sessions including but not limited to topics such as:

  • The View from Congress:  A New Outlook on Health Care Reform
  • What to Expect in 2009:  The Changing Direction of Health Care
  • Legislative Town Hall Meeting
  • Employer-Sponsored Coverage Track:  Complying with COBRA and HIPAA Changes Under ARRA

At this seminar, Blair will be summarizing his findings and experiences with NAHU, HUPAC, congressional leaders and their views on proposed changes in healthcare reform.
