  BCBSIL has completed their annual rate review.
Base Rates will be updated starting 8/1/11.
 
  • SelectTemp increased only 3.5%
  • Series 3 Advantage and BlueChoice increased only 7.8%
  • HSA increased 8.9%
  • SelectBlue, BlueValue and all Closed plans increased 9.5%
  • Overall average increase is 8.9%
  Other carriers trend monthly or quarterly. BCBSIL only trends annually!
